Nell & Nagg try to kiss.

"Feels like a ray of sunshine."

Hamm -- he's nuts, ya know?.

Unrequited kiss.

Monica sets Hamm before the doors open while Larry looks on.

The audience watches Clov's opening sequence of bits.

Clov opens the curtains.

Clov un-sheets Hamm.

Hamm begins an evening of pontificating about nothing.

"I'll leave you. I have things to do."

Hamm gives Dad greif.

Nagg listens to his son's nonsense.

Nagg tells his shaggy dog story.

"Ahhh, yesterday!"

Clov stands there -- or, is he really there?

Hamm discards himself of his things while Clov watches -- if he's really there to watch.

"Old Stauncher. You remain.

Besides the two on stage, that other actor is visible.

Nagg & that damned story!

Nell, actually making something close to sense.

Yes, Clov, Nagg is still there.

"I Can't be punished anymore."

Babble, babble, babble...

Nagg listens to the babble.

Nagg tells his story.

Clov tries to ignore Hamm.

Clov really ignores Hamm.

Hamm and his "dog," again.

Nell & Nagg.

Clov opens the curtains.

Clov & Hamm in the morning.

Hamm after awkening.

Still ignoring that damned Hamm.

"I tell you, I don't complain."

"And so it goes."

"I'll wait for him to whistle me."

A rest in the babble.

Ignoring Hamm again.

"Finished, it's finished, nearly finished, it must be, nearly finished."

Hamm, about to babble.

Hamm & Clov.

Hamm whistles for Clov.

Hamm babbles; Clov ignores.

Listen to the ringing.

Something is about to happen.

"The whole universe" stinks of corpses.

"Why this farce, day after day?"

"I once knew a madman who thought the end of the world had come."

"Did I move?" -- "No."

"Yesterday! What does that mean? Yesterday!"

"There are so many terrible things."

"It's not a real dog; it can't go."

Hamm goes nowhere.

"Will you not kiss me?"

& even more blah blah blah...
